The Artist's Lunch was formed some fifteen
years ago by professional artists living in isolated rural areas who resolved to organize joint exhibitions to "put lunch
on the table". Many of the original members had connections with Dundee Printmakers Workshop but were not exclusively
printmakers. Now comprising of around fifteen members, from Angus, Dundee and Fife, members work in a number of disciplines
and a wide variety of approaches. The group continues to meet socially for artists’ lunches, and to plan future enterprises.
Exhibiting members include: Allan Beveridge, Anne D’Espremenil, Dawson
Murray, Liz Murray, Margaret MacLeod, Elizabeth Shepherd, Rufus McKidd, John Johnstone, Ruth Walker, Liz McCarthy, Pat Edgar,
Barbara Robertson, Eugen Jarych, James Barclay
